Fresh Mart is a curated market experience, providing specific tangible items to our community based upon identified needs, while also providing Hope and a Fresh to families who have felt that they wouldn’t have access to help during difficult seasons. We invite you to come alongside us and help make a difference in the lives of others.
In working with our community we have identified specific times of the year when families could use a helping hand and have aligned our initiatives for those seasons which include: Back-To-School, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Opportunities for donating, participating and dates for these opportunities are provided below.
Fresh Start Church is excited to announce "Fresh Mart Christmas," a free Christmas shopping experience designed to spread holiday cheer and meet the needs of the Vallejo community. Scheduled for Saturday, December 21st, 2024, Fresh Mart will offer families the opportunity to select free Christmas gifts for children 18 and under, providing a meaningful way to celebrate the season without financial strain.
In the spirit of generosity, Fresh Mart will transform the Vallejo Community Center into a welcoming marketplace stocked with toys, bikes, and other holiday essentials for all ages. Volunteers will be on hand to guide participants through a curated selection of age appropriate gifts. Attendees can browse, select an item, and enjoy a joyful atmosphere complete with holiday music, and treats.
If you are a business owner or representative of an organization and would like to make a donation please note that we are a 501(c)3 organization and are able to provide statements for donations.
The following are ways in which you can help make donations toward this amazing outreach opportunity:
Online Order and Delivery of Gifts- We have set up an Amazon shopping list that can be utilized to purchase items. These gifts will be shipped to us for Fresh Mart. You can access the link by clicking here.
Purchase and Drop-off- Toys and bikes can be purchased and dropped off on Sundays between 10AM-2PM. We recommend using our curated shopping list to help ensure that items purchased meet the needs of each age group. The shopping list can be downloaded by clicking here.
Monetary Donations can be provided online using the link below, or in person during Sunday Worship service using an envelope with “Fresh Mart” specified.

2024 INITIATIVE RECAPS
In November we will host Boxes of Love for Thanksgiving, which includes a family size box of staple grocery items and all the necessary fixings for a Thanksgiving Dinner. We are also adding a component this year titled “Blessing Bags”; which will be filled with essential care items and distributed to the unhoused community throughout the city of Vallejo.
Our packing party will take place on Sunday, November 17th after Worship Service. Distibution of Boxes and Blessing Bags will take place on Saturday, November 23rd.
2024 BACK-TO-SCHOOL
On Saturday, August 10th we hosted our 2nd Annual Fresh Mart 2024 Back-To-School Giveaway. With donations, purchases by Fresh Start Church and a dynamic Volunteer Team we were able to serve almost 300 Students and their families.
