Greetings future academy students and tutors!
The FS Math Academy has been developed to provide math tutoring for the first semester of the 2020 – 2021 academic school year. Our goal is to help kids THRIVE in math as they begin with Distance Learning.
Subject Levels that will be provided during this semester include:
Basic Math (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Decimals, Percents, etc.)
Intermediate Math – Pre Algebra (Number Lines, Addition – Subtraction – Multiplication – Division of positive and negative numbers, including fractions, decimals and percents, etc.)
Advanced Math – Algebra/Basic Geometry (Simplifying and Factoring Expressions, Distance/Rate/Time Word Problems, Area/Perimeter, Solving for Variables, etc.)
Additional information that you should know includes:
Applications will be reviewed and accepted based upon space availability, which is limited.
Sessions will occur one to two days per week, per student, at minimum and as needed.
All students and parents must attend the student orientation. Date will be provided with acceptance notice.
